D3 bulbs are the newest version of D1 HIDs. These bulbs are installed in thevehicles like factory lights. The D3 bulbs operate on lower voltage and cannot replace the D1 and vice versa. Connectors on bulbs igniters differ, so avoid using the excessive force. Kensun offers D3 replacement bulbs which can be used withOEM ballasts. There are options for projector and reflector housings. The D3Rbulb is designed with painted section to block part of the light output so they can be used in the reflector housing. The D3S bulbs do not have any painted section but can be installed to the projector housing. There is a shield inside the housingitself.
Kensun offers the LED kits. These lights are durable and do not require theballasts. In the case of purchasing the LED set, OEM ballasts should be removed. Professional installation may be needed.

GEORGIA ·   In Georgia, not more than four  lights  may be  lighted  at one time on in front of a vehicle, being a  headlamp  or an auxiliary  lamp  or spot lamp, that projects a  beam  with an intensity brighter than 300 candlepower. ·   It is unlawful to operate any motor  vehicle  equipped with a device producing any blue  lights , whether flashing, blinking, revolving, or stationary. ·   It is unlawful to operate a motorcycle equipped with a device producing any blue ( LED )  lights . ·   At least one break  light  is required to drive the  vehicle  on the highway. ·   In addition to  headlights  and tail  lights , vehicles in Georgia are allowed to have additional  lighting  including at least two fog  lights  (see below).
